A nature sanctuary and food forest at the foot of Mt. Banahaw less than two hours away from Makati, home to over 200 plant species, over 50 flowering plants, hundreds of fruit trees, peacocks, ducks, colorful birds, butterflies, frogs, crickets, fireflies, an ecologically balanced small slice of paradise.
Our Story
A nature sanctuary and food forest at the foot of Mt. Banahaw
Maya’s Nest evolved from an overgrown and unproductive piece of land in Barangay Malaya, Nagcarlan, Laguna. It started as an organic hobby farm with fruit trees, hundreds of indigenous plants and hardwood, flowering shrubs, salad vegetables, a ‘sinigang’ and ‘pinakbet’ garden, herbs and medicinal plants. It was nature’s pharmacy and we called it the Healing Leaf Farm.
